How long do projects usually take?
The project duration depends on the complexity and scope. Typically, full websites take approximately 30-45 days to create, covering design, SEO strategy, development, and deployment. For single landing pages, the turnaround is much quicker, typically 7-14 days.
What does your design and development process look like?
Our design and development process begins with a comprehensive consultation where we sit down with you to discuss your goals, preferences, and learn more about your business and most important, your clients. This involves going through a detailed questionnaire we've designed to capture all necessary information.
Once we understand your needs, we compile a list of all the assets we require from you and then proceed to the design phase. Here, we create preliminary designs and work through multiple review rounds with you to ensure everything aligns with your vision. After receiving your final approval, we develop the website, optimize it for SEO, and conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality and performance.
The final step involves a review session where we go over the site together, make any needed revisions and adjustments, and then, once everything is perfected, we launch your site live.

Do you offer ongoing support and maintenance after the website is live?
Yes, we will be here to answer any questions you may have. Also after the project is done, we can work out a monthly plan that fits what you're looking for. This way, we can keep your website up-to-date and help your business keep growing.
Can you do hourly edits or changes to my site after?
If you'd prefer not to commit to a dedicated monthly maintenance package, we totally understand. For larger changes, data entry, or any other creative service you might need for your site, we charge an hourly studio rate of $120 CAD. However, if you're currently hosting with Betonicah, we offer a discounted studio rate of $75 CAD per hour.
What about web hosting?
We offer straightforward web hosting for all betonicah clients, starting at $45 a month.
Our hosting is reliable and is deployed on a global CDN to ensure your site loads quickly worldwide. Costs may vary depending on the site's complexity and expected traffic. Clients hosted by us also benefit from free small content updates and a discounted studio rate of $75 CAD per hour for larger website changes.
I'm not located near your office, can we work remote?
If meeting in person to discuss your website or review designs is not feasible, we are fully equipped to work via email, phone, or virtual meetings. Our goal is to be as flexible as possible to ensure all projects run smoothly.
Can you refresh my current website instead of creating a new one?
We generally do not update or refresh existing websites, as they often use outdated technologies that don't meet current standards for performance, including page loading speed, SEO, and accessibility.
Instead, we prefer to create new websites from scratch using the latest technologies. This approach allows us to ensure that your site performs optimally and is future-proof.
Although we don't refresh existing sites, we can certainly preserve the design elements you love. We'll incorporate a similar aesthetic into the new website, providing a modern update that retains the familiar feel of your original site while enhancing its functionality and compliance with current web standards.

What are the payment terms and options that you provide?
We understand that investing in a website can feel daunting; that's why we aim to make it as simple as possible for our clients.
We generally require 30% of the project cost before work commences, and the remainder upon project completion, before the website goes live. In some cases, we can also discuss monthly payment plans to get your site up and running and help you attract more clients. We are super flexible.
We accept payments via credit card, checks, or Interac e-Transfer.
