The Objective

We had three primary objectives going into this project: to create a distinct online presence that reflects Stampede Tack & Western Wear's core values and matches the style of their iconic store develop an easy-to-use e-commerce platform capable of handling a large and growing inventory of up to 1000 products and, most importantly to the client, be able to provide long-term support.

Our Strategy

Our team approached this project with a clear strategy in mind. We wanted to create a website that reflected the core values of Stampede Tack & Western Wear and to make it as easy to use as possible for both the client and the staff. To achieve this, we worked closely with the client to create a clean and recognisable logo that could be used on the website and in print. We used a light design theme with orange accents and wood panelling. This helped to give the website a rustic yet modern feel.

We paid special attention to the user experience, ensuring that the website was easy to navigate and find specific products. With an inventory of nearly 1000 products, we made special efforts to ensure a clear and simple navigation menu to make sure users are able to find what they were looking for quickly and easily. We also made sure that the back-end of the website was easy for the staff to handle orders, shipping, and manage customer support.

Project Challenges

Setting up an e-commerce store of this scale presented a significant challenge - sourcing product images. With Stampede Tack & Western Wear selling both well-known and niche brands, acquiring product images proved to be a difficult task. While big brands were easy to source from manufacturers, unique and specialised items posed a challenge as they often lacked any images at all. Our team tackled this hurdle head-on by setting up an on-site photography booth, allowing us to capture and edit high-quality images of all the store's unique and special items. The end result was a visually stunning and comprehensive e-commerce platform that showcases every product in its best light.

The Results

We provided Stampede with a blazing fast e-Commerce website hosted on 100% Canadian servers. They are able to log into the backend to manage products, web sales and interact with customer orders. A custom care-plan was designed in order to provide periodic design changes, blog updates and new products to the site as well as ensuring the software and plugins are fully patched and secure. This enables Stampede Tack & Western Wear to do what they do best, take care of their customers with top notch customer service.
